Bradley McCalister Artist & Craftsman
The Studios' of Bradley R.M. was born out of my love for creating fine art
and craft with an emphasis on using reclaimed materials. In the past as a
full time carpenter on custom homes I collected the items that were
otherwise headed to the landfill or burn pile for use in my projects.
Everything from the stumps when the site is cleared to the left over trim
pieces receive a second chance. Additionally I dismantle old homes that
would have been pushed down with a bulldozer and hauled away and
give a new life to an old piece of material. This reclaiming process allows
me to create lasting art, craft pieces and furnishings for people to enjoy
for years to come. It is a wonderful hobby ! So wonderful in fact that I
have hung up the tool belt in the fall of 2008 and will be working full time
at my studio's in North Georgia and the Colorado Rocky Mountains .
